Default Multimedia Messaging - NOW WORKING ON VODAFONE AU

Please Login to Remove!

UPDATE:
MMS is now confirmed to work on Vodafone AU. You will require the new handheld software VER. 4.0.2.35 and you will need to re-register on the host routing table to get the service books down. Both sending and recieving seem to work with no troubles. As always, VFAU limits multimedia messages to 100kb.

Anyone heard anything about MMS retrieval being supported on BB's? Looks like Vodafone Australia is testing it out:

Vodafone PXT [WAP] <--new service book

Blackberry [CICAL] and Blackberry [CMIME] <--seemingly new universal message service books (observed on both BES and Webclient devices)?

MMS option in settings: allows you to set reception, retrieval, notification and filtering.

Tested it, MMS's get to the notification stage on the network but the device gets nothing, not even the sms to tell them to view the MMS on the website. Tells me that it's probably still in testing stage.

Anyone else on other networks seen something like this? It seems to be applicable to 7100v, 7230 and 7290 so far (thats what I've tested).
