Just remember that you get what you pay for. It could be a stolen device and if so you are probably SOL. The story sounds fishy to me.

Here is what you need to do to get it working. Remove all the old IT policies. Do a search and you can get the instructions on how to do it. Wipe it as well.

Get a BB dataplan from your carrier. You will need the IMEI and PIM to give to the CSR.

Set up your BIS account for email. T-Mo should provide instructions, otherwise do a search on here.

If you can't set up BIS, make sure the seller has deleted their BIS account and released the IMEI and PIN.

Download Desktop Manager and set up to synch with one of the PIMs (Outlook is what most people use).

Download the user guide from the CD or from the RIM website.
