Well, the agent definitely did not know what she was talking about. It just started working again after about 1 hours after getting off the phone with Cingular. Amazing, since I was assured and reassured that wap.cingular does not exist for Cingular BB users and it is not technically feasible except for Cingular Blue/ ATT customers. I am now getting full modem and 3rd party wap support. Now whatever I get billed will be the Easter egg at the end of this hunt for the truth.
I do not know if it is a "feature" or not, but it is automatically set up with BB UNL if the provision the account in a certain way. I was told I do not have WIX. I think you get wap.cingular if you have any MEDIA NET plan. It looks like there is still a low included data usage with pay-per-usage charges after that (again, I was lied to - they said Media Net Works was unlimited, but it appears it is really 5MB + $0.01 per KB thereafter).
