So to answer your question, yes it does do it. Guess I never paid attention cause the point of having bluetooth is to be handsfree, so normally the phone isnt on me and I don't bother looking at my phone to see who texted me while I'm on a call. I have only text and emails set to notify during calls, if I had any IMs turned on to notify, I would never want to have a phone conversation again.

I tried that and it works if im in call but it doesn't work if I just have the headset on. Any ideas on how to do that?
