Been lurking around here for awhile doing some research if I want to cave in and purchase a Blackberry for personal use (since WM and Palm has been utter failures for me). I have a wild feeling that Verizon will disable/cripple the GPS feature and RIM is hinting at this fact too now. The new link for the 8830 that's located here -

Might have to leave Verizon after all. Yay for crippling features and completely locking out handsets.
