I was moving some indicators on my home screen when I sort of got into a spot of trouble.

The same indicator seemed to be stuck under the controller, i.e. whenever I moved the selector ball it followed, even after I had clicked "complete move" then , before I knew what happened, the home page was absent all indicators, except for about five (what seem to be) hidden copies of that same indicator". Only a black circle appears when I mouseover.

Currently, I am pressing the space bar in order to first get to call log. Then, I bring up dialog box and choose "switch application" which then gives me 4 or 5 basic indicators, including messages.

Please help me to recover my previous settings for the home screen. I think all my email settings are still there.

EDIT: I tried pulling the battery while the power was on. Then later, I tried to soft reset.
