I was able to obtain a retail H9 this morning. Results are quite mixed.

First, the earpeice is snug, but not a headset to wear all day long like my PT510. It fits quite deep in your ear canal and for me is quite uncomfortable.

Second, I paired with my 8800 just fine, but volume is quite lower than expected considering it is jammed into my ear.

Outbound clarity is adequate; however, you do pick up a lot of ambient noise from around you.

Major static if earpeice is in right ear and phone is on left hip.

Voice dialing works as advertised. Just tap the multi function button and it pops right up.

Connect time for an incoming call is fine.

Talk time is more than my PT510, but with the feel and call quality (in and out) this one is not going to stay in my arsonal for daily use.
