Default Attachments invisible in some HTML emails

Please Login to Remove!

I've received an email with an attachment, and my 9780 running OS6.0.0.448 doesn't even recognise that the attachment is there.

I can see it if I choose the "Get Plain Text" option.

I can forward the email from my phone, and the recipient can see the attachment in Outlook.

If I forward it as is from Outlook, 9780 recipients still can't see it. Same thing if I delete the attachment and add another one of a different type.

If I forward it from Outlook after converting from HTML to plain text, 9780 recipients can see it.

It doesn't seem to be the type of attachment that's doing it, but the format of the original email. I've no idea what the sender used to create it, but I see this line in the headers:
Content-Type: application/ms-tnef; name="winmail.dat"

Has anyone seen this behaviour? Anything that can be done?

I posted this here because I'm assuming it's an OS6 problem. I have seen similar behaviour on a Bold 9000 with OS4.6, but only rarely. With these 9780s we've just rolled out (70 of them), I'm getting complaints every day.
