Default Re: My Blackberry

You can go to device settings and select About. You will find information there.

Also, in any text field, type "myver" with out quotes and followed by a space. This will be replaced by the model and OS version. For example, here is my device. PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.2876

Devices nowadays, even in the day your device was being sold, are smart. It could be the charging current being drawn doesn't fit a profile the device is checking, and the device shuts down charging. Or it could be the device isn't drawing enough power because the charger can't deliver it.

If you have a compatible USB cable that is good you can charge from a computer. You need to either install drivers or else install the desktop software. Get from blackberry.com.

A tip: You parents will eventually find out about the BlackBerry. It's possible they already know.
