I found that out.

But I am not downgrading OS to 4.2 to get the notification that the IM's are active or not. Just rather have them upgrade the program to show that there are active IM's on the Today Screen Icon. (Or main screen Icon) BeeJive does it, shouldn't be too hard to accomplish for IM+. I have had IM+ for the last couple years, started using it on my PDA (Dell Axim x51v) and then when I got the BB I paid the extra $10 to upgrade it to that.
