First of all, is there a forum devoted to BB Desktop Software? I couldn't find one so I'm posting here.
I have installed and re-installed BDS 7.1 many times now - each with slight variations in the process (run as administrator,clean install, repair installation, you name it!) but always with the same result. The application gives me nothing but blank, white screens and yet hogs over 50% of system resources.
Desktop Manager v6 was working fine but auto-upgraded to v7.1 and has never worked since
There are a few posts out there (amazingly not BB forums) that talk to this problem but none of them have offered an effective solution for me.
My carrier (AT&T) can't help me. Blackberry tech support wants to charge me to fix what I can only view as a bug in the software.
Has anyone else come across this? Any suggestions?
