quick question... on the 8703 and the 8700 series in general, does pressing the mute button at the top of the phone while the phone is ringing silence the ringer completely or just for 3 seconds? on mine it seems to silence for only 3 seconds no matter what key i press (both of the sides and the top mute). i know the pressing the mute button kills the ringing completely on the pearl but i was hoping it would work on the 8703e too..

i know the trackwheel will silence it completely, but sometimes when i roll it i click and answer the call by accident.. is there another hard key i can use to silence my ringer completely?
