Default Question with activation on BES

Please Login to Remove!

My company just deployed BES and I am one proud user.

But, I just used the Enterprise Activation option on my 7100x and I noticed a small detail that said "phone call logs" to sync. Does this mean that the BES server (and possibly, the PC police) knows who I'm calling?

No it doesn't sync phone call logs. Only backs them up

What is the Enterprise Activation for? I have that on my BB, but there is nothing set there.

Please search. If you aren't on BES you can hide this icon. If you are on BES then it shouldn't be there.

Enterprise Activation, as has been discussed in many, many threads, allows for the wireless activation and synchronization of BlackBerrys with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, v4.0. If you have BES 4.0, the BES administrator supplies you with a password, and you can start the synchronization and activation process remotely. If you do not have BES 4.0, this icon can be hidden since it serves no use.

edit: Darn Bfrye, you beat me because I typed a long answer :O
