Hello,

I just got my Blackberry 8320 from T-Mobile about a month ago. My old phone - instant messaging services such as AIM or MSN went through SMS.

With my new Blackberry, I have unlimited data from T-M, but I only get 400 text messages a month. If I used the instant messaging programs that were included with my blackberry, would it go through my data plan, or would it count against my monthly text limit?

If you use BB Messenger or any client other than OZ messenger it will count as data.
