Hi, I have a BB curve on Metro PCS. Every time I'm deleting emails I get the "Delete Message?" prompt which I love and need!! However, when deleting texts I do NOT get the prompt. Looked everywhere and can't find an answer. Is it possible to make my BB prompt me before deleting TEXTS same way as when deleting emails? Thanks for your help.

I have never seen an option for this on text messages..

I always get the confirmation prompt, but I've got the Confirm Delete box checked under Options|Mesage display and Actions.

Not sure if the OP means the delete "yes / cancel" pop up message or a second one to confirm the delete request. I only get the first.

I don't get ANY prompt at all on SMS. Once I press the delete button (lot of times accidentally) the SMS is gone in a press of a button. Confirmation appears only when I delete emails. Frustrating.

When did this start happening? As mentioned above, do you have the Confirm Delete box checked? Have you tried a battery pull?

Honestly, that's usually the best thing to do first - give it the three-finger salute or pull the battery for 30 seconds. Clears up most issues.
