I recently synched my BB to my laptop and all of the sudden all the autocorrect functions stopped working (i.e. auto punctuation) and I don't know how to turn them back on.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

First, try pulling the battery while the BlackBerry is on. This sorts out a ton of minor issues the device forgetting preferences.

Check your settings in Options > Typing and Language.

Thanks for the quick response! I did try removing the battery but nothing changed. I checked my settings only to realize I don't know what I am looking for or what I need to change. More infor would be appreciated.

I just had to make sure they all said English under language. One of then was Portuguese. After I changed it to English my auto correct worked again

This happened to me on occassion - in the text screen the top right corner has an "EN" for English - oddly enough, you can tap it to change it - and I've done that a few times - I have an issue accidentally tapping the top right corner of the screens.
