Default Invite Codes for Tyfish - OTA Lock/Wipe/Shout/B'up

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I wanted to make everyone aware that Tyfish is offering a 45 day free trial of its remote backup and over-the-air security service. We are very excited about the response that the service has generated over the past two months and would like to get more of your feedback.

I started Tyfish because my daughter just kept loosing her cell phone every few weeks for several months and I became concerned about protecting my own mobile data. I still regularly backup my contacts and address book in Outlook (as well as Tyfish) but, I really needed to make sure that if my phone was lost or stolen I could remotely secure it.

Remote features include:
Lock / Data Wipe / Shout / Backup / Restore

The app is relatively small and minimally impacts battery life. We think the greatest thing is the pricing. If you only want to secure the phone, then you can install it for free and let it sit quietly on the device until you need to activate it when it's lost or stolen. You can then go to your web account and pay only $10 to activate it for 30 days and perform any of the security functions.

Currently, as mentioned we're looking to get your feedback before the next Blackberry version release. Btw - we also support WinMo and Palm. You can download the client app at Tyfish.com on your mobile browser after requesting the invitation code from any OS browser.

Regards,
Bryon, CEO - @Tyfish.com

I tried it but it does not work with BIS-B, I guess.

Best,
Jaime

The website FAQ says that it's currently only compatible with 88xx, 83xx, and 81xx series. Any chance of supporting the newer 9000, 8900, 82xx, and 95xx devices soon?

Jamie, currently Tyfish is available in the U.S. only. Otherwise it does work with Blackberry Internet Service.

Thx -
Bryon

i'd like to have something like this....
How does it actually work on the device ? Is it an app that loads each time the phone is started ?
If the sim is replaced, or it shows up on a different carrier, do u still have the ability to nuke the phone ?
