I believe Service pack 1 did not like my CALS. I am running BES 5.0 now. Need to build a new server. Going to just use 5.0 on 2008 x64 but I already have a Exchange 2010 built and ready to have mailboxes moved to it.

BES 5.0 on 2003 server. Moving to BES 5.0 on 2008 x64. Current BES on 2003 is having hardware problems.

Problem is when I try to run the SP1 for BES5.0 it says I am using Small Business keys. I talked with BB Support and they said I need to upgrade to full BES keys.

Well I am moved to BES 5.0.0 MR4 on a 2008 x64 server. Used the user transporter and it worked like a champ. Now I just need to get to 5.0.1!!!!!!!!

what version of BES 4.X were you using?
Did you ever have SBE?
How did you upgrade to 5.0?

ah, thats why.

You have to upgrade SBE to BES 4.1 then to BES 5.0

If you skip the middle one then you can not apply 5.0.1.

They missed a step in licnesing that forces SBE users to upgrade to BES 4.1.x first.

Now that you are on 5.0 not sure what you need to do.
Might have to call support up for help.
