When I got the Bold fhresh new, it still has 30 MB on the application memory after few apps installed. Then I installed a few themes(5-6 themes)and now my app memory is only 2.4 MB available. I'm afraid that my BB will start having some problem. Anyone can recommend on this. Thanks.

simply, dont too many install theme in your bb, just install what you need.1-2 themes i think enough.
cant you imagine that one theme have size round 500 - 1 mb,and when active theme consume so much memory, and that would effect your free mem too (drop fast).i dont use theme coz of that.1 theme equal to average 15-20 application. i rather use my memory for application then theme.
and please regularly restart your bb and quickpull.
i always restart everyday and use quickpull after 2-3 days.
my app memory 40.4 mb, and i have round 10 application in my bold

You will have boatloads of problems if your free file is 2.4MB...


Delete some themes.

Also, check out an app called Maxmem... It clears up a bunch of memory by deleting useless stuff. When I had my bold, I had 45MB with a munch of stuff installed

Many thanxs guys. After softreset, I recovered my app mem back to 28~29 Mb.
