Default Forwaring pictures - Cuts image 2/3 way

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone have this problem? When I forward images to an email address, the image is cut off around 66%. It doesn't matter what resolution I select, it gets cut. It's very irritating. Here's an example:

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

You may need want to treat it as wallpaper and have the picture converted to the proper size.

SEE Blackberry Cool or Crackberry site

Nothing to do with the wallpaper. I'm talking about taking a picture with the camera and forwarding/sending to an email address. MMS works fine, but for some reason email cuts the image off. Example:

Dave, can be 640x480 or 1024x768 and still get the 66%ish problem. See post above.

Just curious. How would my downloading options on the bb affect it's ability to upload a picture to email?

Just to illiustrate the problem:

If 10/10 is the picture taken by the bb camera, I'm getting 7/10 when I send the image to my email account.

Original Picture (taken on bb 8303):
xxxxxx
xxxxxx
xxxxxx
xxxxxx

Received Picture (downloaded from attachment at any email address):
xxxxxx
xxxxxx
xxxxxx
xxx---

Yeah, it's very strange. Seems like I'm hitting a kilobyte limit of some kind, BUT it happens at the same point in the picture whether 640x480 or 1024x768. Weird.

I must have misunderstood your post. So you're saying the problems happens on the BB device?
Do you have enough memory left on your BB.

Problem happens somewhere during the transfer using "Send to Email".

Nothing is wrong with the camera (viewing on the bb is good, MMS to another bb or phone is good).

When using the "Send to Email" option, the bb says it sent the picture to the email address successfully with the check box next to the message.

I can't post images yet, but if you go here you can see what I'm talking about. This is a picture that I sent form the bb to my email address:

Where do you save your pictures: on the device memory or do you have a memory card (not sure if it is available on your BB)?

Bingo! That's what is happening to me. Model is 8303 (curve). I'm storing the images on the internal memory. I don't have a microSD in it currently.

Do you guys have the same problem when you save the picture on a microSD? I am just wondering if it is not a memory limitation although that does not make much sense.
