Default Huge volume problem please help

Please Login to Remove!

I just purchased a 8100 for my girlfriend and the ringtone volume is very low. I went into profiles and changed the advanced options to as loud as possible. However, the tones are still too quite. Is there any other options for me to increase the volume on the phone. Please and thank you Blackberry family.

Welcome to the BBForums.

Did you change the volume to high on the active profile you are using?

Well, then you will need louder ringtones. Make some using Audacity from your favorite music.

You are welcome to the tunes we have stored here:
Index of /ringtones
Look at the ones filename ending in "LOUD".

Good luck.

You can make your own loud ringtones if you choose some loud song and use an online tool http://makeownringtone.com
With default settings it produces ringtones with good loudness. And there are plenty of filters to play with.

You can also use Myxer - Download Ringtones and More to make song clip ringtones that you can jack up the volume on.

try cleaning out excess dust and crap from the speaker, I find that that sorta junk kinda muffles any sound played out of the speaker

Well I Modified Mine, I Just Made A Little Hole In The Back Cover Just In The Middle Of The Speaker Just Below The Blackberry Sign. The Back Cover Kinda Dulls The Sound.
Well It Worked For Me The Volume Is Right For Me It Wakes Me Up Every Morning.
