For over a week now I have had a notification on my home screen. It's a green circle with a black capital letter A. I've googled this and asked my friends on bbm but to no avail. If someone can give a solution here I would be very thankful.

I have no updates for my BB appworld, even after deleting the appworld app the notification still appears on my home screen. Luckily no flashing led is associated with this notification otherweis it woudl've driven me insane by now.

Are there any other suggestions?

If you deleted the app did you try a Battery Pull after deleting? Device ON > Remove Battery > Count to 20 > Replace Battery and allow to reboot fully

yes I have done this. Have you had the same notification?
