I just picked up a Red Pearl from Best Buy on the Sprint network, and I am extremely impressed. I had an 8800 on AT&T for work, and I really liked that one, but felt it was too big, and the no camera. I was a little apprehensive about getting the Pearl because of the SureType and lack of a full QWERTY keyboard. The Curve still isn't available with Sprint yet.
I have to say though, it works great!! I am glad I got it, and I got a killer deal on it from Best Buy ($99 w/ a plan more than $59.99. Easy to do once you add a data plan) I only wish the people at Best Buy and Sprint were more knowledgeable about the data plans, and what is needed for BES to work. They started me off with the Access Pack they stated works with BES. After speaking to the 4th CSR, I finally got someone to help me out and add the proper plan. Got a good deal there too. My monthly bill will be less than $55 a month with a data plan. I am looking forward to learning more about the phone and what hacks I can do.
You'll love it... it's a nice device. I have a friend using that BB on Sprint. Check out the FAQ here for basic questions. As you learn some good tips, pass them along!
This thing has definitely become an addiction. I want to try to hack it, like I hack everything else. I am looking forward to learning what I can about it.
