Default VeriChat "Failed to transmit"

Please Login to Remove!

So VeriChat was working great for me (7290 with 1.78b on ATT/cingular) but now I always get the error "Failed to transmit". I noticed that my network has recently automatically switched from ATT to cingular. It was working fine, but maybe cingular changed something.

Any suggestions? My company has BES.

What settings for data are different from ATT to cingular?

Thanks!

Default failed to trasmit verichat on 7290

Did you ever get this resolved?
I have the same problem with cingular on the 7290 with BES.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Unhappy ahhhhh!!!!

I just bought Verichat, read and re-read these forums, but can't get it to work?

I read all the faq's but keep getting a "failed to transmit" message...

I've searched, read, tried, tested, undid etc.... (I use cingular, but can't tell if it's blue or orange?)

I have a hosted exchange/BES

Any ideas what I need to do?

Same problem I have. I know I have blue though. I also am a hosted exchange bes environment. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I had the same problem a little while back. If you are on a BES it may be that you Mobile Data Service is down and the BES server needs to be restarted. To confirm is MDS is down on your blackberry try connecting to the "Blackberry Browser" if you get an MDS error, that's your problem.

Default "Failed to Transmit" error in http connection

I am also facing same issue with my application. It throws exception while opening Input Stream. I verified MDS and it seems to be working for me. Also I do not face any problem in opening output stream.
Early response on this will be appreciated.

Raj
