Hi All,

There are many threads on this subject in general, I was hoping for any specifics here. I recently got a 7230 BWC System on Vodafone UK. I'm not a windows user and want to do wireless sync with 3rd party linux compatible software (I've posted another thread about this) as well as run ssh.

Has any UK vodafone BWC user had success in getting full internet / TCP working? Do vodafone actually have this service?

The settings suggested on the FAQ are:

Vodafone (UK)
Gateway IP: 212.183.137.12
Port: 9201
APN: wap.vodafone.uk
username:
password: user

These do not seem to work. I've also tried wap.vodafone.co.uk as the APN as well as blackberry.net and internet (with u/p as wap/wap) all to no avail.

Vodafone technical support seem adament to not provide any help at all as soon as something other than Outlook is mentioned, so hopefully the enlightened souls of this forum will shine some light on the problem!
