I am camping and I need to use my storm as a teathered modem. I have an older version of desktop manager that doesn't have a driver for my storm. I was using my 8830 on this laptop as a tethered modem before I got my storm. So somehow I need to get a driver for my storm on my laptop from my bb. My wife has a pearl so I can load the driver on the sd card and use her pearl to upload it to my laptop. Her pearl does not have a data plan that allows a tethered modem.

Here's the catch my storm will not let me use blackberry's site to dl. When you get to the page there you have to fill out the form to continue, the Country field hangs and says 'loading'.

So does anyone know a direct link to download a storm usb driver for vista or been direct link to desktop manager 4.7?

Here is a link from Verizon's web site. Just make up a phone number. I don't think you are a Verizon person? This link is the BB desk top manager. Good Luck

Thanks for trying. That doesn't work either. It tells me the request entity is too large.

Use Tetherberry for tethering to your computer. I have been using it & love it.
