I bought a 8350i on for the Telus Network used to replaced my crappy motorola phone.

The seller said that it had an intermitent Radio Boot Fail error that he had multiple quotes to fix.

Since recieving it, it hasn't been intermitent... it has not worked once, and I have yet to find someone that can give me advice on fixing it saying I out of luck, hense I just bought a chunk of coal basicly.

I have done a Master Radio Reset, Software wipe and reload, and all the other basics.

Anyone have an idea or answer?

Sounds more like a hardware issue than a software one. Hence the "quotes" the original owner got to fix it. Ask him for the quotes and get it fixed professionally.

Tried that. He said that becasue of the confidientiality we have between us that he can't give them to me. Which makes me think I've been scammed.

He told me to go buy a new logic board or a Nextel unit and unlock it. All my research says a Nextel won't work on a Telus network.

Also to add the battery last approx. 12hrs witht he unit powered off.

You should tape the BlackBerry to the end of a bat and whack the seller with it.

"Confidentiality" as a reason not to give you the quotes for repairs? Absolute gibberish and bullspit.

Nice way of putting it. He stopped responding to my e-mails, so he has a paypal strike against him for a few days now with either asking for his repair places or a full refund.
