Got new torch 2wks ago and screen has been constantly misbehaving.
-touch screen currently unresponsive, but can access icons with trackpad
-tried adjustments to trackpad and screen sensitivity and battery pulls to no avail.
-saw others have been having issues with this- seem like this is hopeless= torch is toast
-tried reloading everything again- same deal.
QUESTION: this is my only phone and i dont want to wipe it prior to returning to att as im using it now. (pity me today waiting in line like a fool)
-what are security risks in taking it back and exchanging it?
will the store take my stuff off when they take back the phone? (im naive)
thanks for any advice here- so so disappointed why cant RIM get it right?

oh I forgot to add...
Virtual Keyboard does not work of course (as touchscreen not working); but at times if I "touch" a key I will get a random key appearing that is nowhere near the touched key.

also now my browser and related favorite internet site icons on the screen are not working even with the track pad; However the google apps and calendar, tasksm memo pad etc work.
