Today I saw that my battery was starting to get low, and I knew I had to use my phone later on in the day, so I turned it off. When i went to turn my Blackberry Curve 8700 back on again, I received a white screen saying 'JVM Error 545.' I had absolutely no clue what that means, or how to fix it. I did google the problem, but all of the solutions require using Blackberry Desktop Manager, which I tried using but it did not read that my phone was plugged in, and therefore wouldn't let me back-up and/or restore my device. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great, I can't live without my blackberry!

If you don't have a backup, you are probably outta luck.

You can try a battery pull and see if that works - witht he device on, pull the battery out for about 30-60 seconds, then reinsert and let the device reboot. If at first it doesn't work, try it again but leave it out for a minute or two.

If that doesn't work, you will need to wipe the device using Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and then reinstall the OS (should be a link in the Legacy section - http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html)
