Hi All,

Sorry i haven't been able to find a concise way to do this. We are currently runnign BES professional 4.1.4.15 but its gone real flakey on me and services wont stop themselves and activations have given up working as well. BES is currently install on our exchange server but I have built up a replacement box to have BES installed on.

I tried to install BES on the new box using the same SRP details & pointing at the same DB (database is on a remote box) but got the error 'only one BES may be installed per domain' . Whats the best approach in this scenario ?

Either way, do NOT try to bring up a second BES with the same SRP key. You will find both BES servers locked out of the network for as long as it takes for RIM to sort it out. This could be the best part of a day.
