I curretnly have the 8830 on vzw w/ Enterprise activation through my work. I was thinking about picking up the Pearl on Wed. My question is that since it is a holiday week and staff will be limited and the fact that I am impatient, can I use the activation PIN that I currently already have or do I need to get a new one from my IT dept?

When I went from 8703e (not EA) to the 8830 they just gave me the PIN when I was on the road, I entered it and 10 min later I was cruising along. Can I just enter the same PIN or need them to generate a new one.

You will need to have a new one created by your IT department. The Enterprise Activation password is one time use only.
