Not exactly sure what you're looking for here...maybe something like this?: BlackBerry Internet Service

Are you looking to setup Blackberry so that messages from your email addresses are retrieved automatically? Then click on the link ScooterG posted.

If you're looking to transfer the messages you currently have in your Outlook already, then that's different

I guess what I am really asking is there a pc program, where I can enter the CONTACTS, that is in the same formate as the BB. Once I am done on the pc I would like to upload this to my BB.

Google Sync isn't bad either if Outlook or T-Birds not your thing.

Can this be done from Google Sync or TBird? I thought, like with WinMo, you were forced to pay the Microsoft Tax and use Outlook.

Now, TBird or Google Sync, from Linux, would REALLY be sweet!

Yes, GMail Contact w/ Google Sync will work fine, as long as you have a BlackBerry Data Plan.
Just a hunch... but I'm guessing the OP doesn't have a BlackBerry Data Plan. I have no real basis to make that assessment. Seriously, just a hunch.

Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail will also work for syncing Contacts.

BlackBerry Data Plan, as in BIS? That I have, Unlimited BIS Data w/USCC.

Don't most carriers force you to have a data plan with a smartphone?

Most CDMA carriers require a data plan on BlackBerry devices.

Nope. It's just that most use it as Outlook fully syncs with all the PIM apps on the BB. Not to mention that everything in the world syncs with Outlook which is handy for data migration down the road.

It is rare to see just Office Outlook loaded on a machine. Generally, it is loaded with the MS Office Suite. It DOES NOT come as part of the Student/Basic bundle which generally sells for under $150.

Of course, many BlackBerry users are business people who have the luxury of a company-supplied PC with the Microsoft suite pre-loaded. These days however, BlackBerry is making inroads into the consumer market, and many of these people either see purchase of the MS Office suite as an unneeded expense, or they are only purchasing the Student/Basic version. Many are opting for alternatives, like the Open Source Open Office dot org suite, which is available for... free. Alongside these, there is also Mozilla's fine Thunderbird mail client and Evolution, a true Outlook killer.

Then of course, there are those consumers who tire of Vista's problems, and zero ability to backport to XP on many consumer grade PCs, and instead turn to a Linux-based solution like Ubuntu, which by-the-way just released a new version (Jaunty Jackalope, v.9.04).

For these folks, a good, workable solution has been slow in coming forward.

But Outlook Express and/or Windows Live Mail are installed as part of the OS and can be used for syncing the contacts.

Unfortunately, they are not installed, and cannot be installed, on a Linux machine.
