Default 7130e holster - anybody buy this one?

Please Login to Remove!

I've been waiting for the 7130e gizmo case, but have given up hope it will ever arrive. Has anyone purchased this case from the BB website?

http://www.shopblackberry.com/_black...S4N6FJM5GCDDBH

It doesn't show the front and I'd like to know how big the flap is.

I bought one. It's an excellent case. You can also use it with the extended battery.

What's on the front - any logos? How big is the flap, and is it a pain to swing up to get the phone out? How does the phone go into the case - screen side out or in to activate the sleeper?

Thanks much!

You can insert it either way, but it fits better with the screen in. The magnet turns the screen off either way, which is good because I don't always check which way I am inserting it.

Make sure you push the BB right to the bottom so the magnet will work.

There is discreet plastic rectangular logo on the flap. It looks like aluminum with "Blackberry" on it.

The flap is small and held closed by a magnet. You can open it and remove the phone quite easily with one hand.

Great info...I think I'll order it today. Thanks for the feedback.

I bought this case but do not like it. When you receive messages and you pull the BB out within 15 seconds it does not oprn the message. The magnet on the flip cover causes the BB to mark the message as read.

Your local verizon store sells a pretty good case for close to the same price. I have been using it for some time now and really like the case. Easy to set the BB into the case and the sleeper works screen in or screen out. Nice large flap and plenty of room to grab the BB. I have not experienced the issue brought forward by whsbuss. Down side is that verizon has their logo on the front, but it is small.

I would have bought the Verizon case but the clip is MASSIVE. It's curved and long, and sticks out pretty far. This one on BB's site looks to have a discreet clip.

The clip on the BB Case is very good. It stays on your belt securely and it rotates!

the case you inquired about is ugly. and not very "cool". I would love the case that came with the unit in the box if it just had a swivel clip.

Have you found any other functional but good looking cases? I'd like a swivel clid with a small flap. Gizmo looks to be the best, but nobody has heard from them in weeks as to whether or not they'll produce a case for the 7130e. That was my first choice, but I've given up hope.

Email from Gizmo says March 8 for 7130e case. We'll see because this is the third estimate they've given and missed the first two.

The OEM Case is in stock at a nice discount http://store.bizshopr.com/rimacc-09928-001.html

This is essentially the leather pouch (with flap) with the classic BlackBerry 360* swivel clip. Very nice quality.

This case works with the 7100 t/g/r/x/v 7105t 7130e (NOT 7100i)

I ended up ordering this case (listed below so as to avoid confusion):

http://www.shopblackberry.com/_black...S4N6FJM5GCDDBH

Received it today and VERY pleasantly surprised how nice it is. Leather looks to be good quality, very sleek, good fit, flap works very well, sleeper works with the screen in or out, and the clip is very thin so as not to protrude too much from the belt. I may just end up keeping this.

Ordered it Friday from blackberrystuff.com (shipping was $5 cheaper than shopblackberry.com), got here today (Wed) taking into account Monday's holiday. Very impressive.

Just received my new 7130e. I like a leather holster w/out a top flap.

Has anyone tried this one?

That is the leather clad version of the standard soft nylon that comes with the 7100 - to answer more specifically it is a nice case. We also have the new version with the flap - of course we have the best price too
