Default BB 8900 acting as modem

Please Login to Remove!

Dear friends

I have tried to localize a thread like I am posting now but I did not succeed.
In fact I am trying to find out the best and simple way to use my BB 8900 as a modem. (great if I could use the same for BB 8310)
I have saw something to install a desktop manager but I did not know what it means.
My computer has the XP SP3 OS.
Could someone inform how should I proceed step by step to get it running?
Many thanks

How do you plan to use it..through bluetooth, or through the USB cable?

The newest version of Desktop Manager has an IP Modem feature that will enable you to teather. Be careful, make sure you won't be charged extra data charges for teathering with your wireless carrier.

I use the 8900. I currently use the newest version of Desktop Manager that has the IP Modem feature. I have also been able to configure my PC to use the older versions of Destop Manager (above 4.2) as a modem. The carrier I use is T-Mobile USA.
