new OS now missing games and some other icons

I have installed build .975 from 732 because of those media card errors.
anyway it did not go to well, and had some type of error so I hit the loader again and it seemed to work but when the phone came on it had a white screen with tiny little icons. anyway I then did a restore from desktop which seemed to fix things, but now I was looking for games and the standard ones are not there brick breaker, klondike, I have no games and bbm icon is not around anywhere. It works with keyboard shortcut but cannot find icon. I have tried the show all
oh yes and more important is the applications spread sheet, word are missing as well.
should I attempt to reistall the OS to get these back.
