Default ctadel mode????

Please Login to Remove!

hi, can anyone tell me if there is a setting that controls what happens when i put my in its cradle at night?
it always goes to clock made like i want it to, but some times it automatically goes into bedside mode(key pad goes dark and display dims) like i want it to and other times it just stays bright with keyboard lit up and i have to manually switch to bedside mode.
when it does it automatically as soon as i pick it up it wakes and lights up but when i manually switch it i have to manually exit bedside mode. hope that makes sense.
thanks for looking
sorry should say "cradle mode"

have done all the settings, but sometimes it automatically executes these settings when i put it into the cradle and other times it just brings up the clock face. i cant find any settings that tell it what to do when it is placed into its cradle, are there any?

No.
Bedside mode settings are for WHEN CHARGING.

i.e if you just place into a cradle and are not charging, it wont DO anything.

oh ok, so when i put it in the cradle and it auto switches to clock (which it always does) is that because its charging as well? and when it automatically dims (which it sometimes does) is that also because of charging?
me now confused (incidentally when it dims it reacts to room light as when i turn on lamp it wakes up always)

When it starts to dim, thats just what the phone would do if you are not putting it into a cradle.

If you are charging then you have set bedside mode to show clock when charging.

ok, thanks for that, just couldn't understand why it sometimes enters bedside mode and some times don't (cradle always connected to wall charger)
your knowledge is enlightening

then what i say applies
its just that when you place it in and all it does is dim, the battery must be at 100%
but when you place it in and the clock comes up, the battery must then start charging.
