hi
got a new storm with software 4.7 on it. (vodaphone)
it has the maps icon on it but displays a green screen with the message "no data available. it seems to have the maps on it as in options it says they are there i think. been trying this for a couple of days. its a works phone so dont want to muck about with it too much as I.T. will get all anal with me.

they dont appear to have blocked it on anyone elses in the work.

any ideas what i could do?

sorry about this. im a complete novice and know nowt about it. i had a search for this in the posts but most of them were just "white noise" to me

well you said the phone was from your company, so I assume you get your emails from your company through that device by being on a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server)

then they could be blocking access to it.
talk to your BES/IT admin.

no others in the organisation are accessing it on their older storms and bolds. anyway, i broke it last night and its totaly chuffed now
