I have a 8703e from verizon. The problem is that i can't type or recieve text messages with more than 160 characters. It is really anoying. Does anyone know how to change it to more than 160???????

I believe that is the limit. Not much you can do

The length of an individual message is limited to 160 chars, but usually it just splits them into 2 messages when you send...I'm not sure if this is a verizon/8703e specific issue

the thing is ususally when the text message is 160 characters it will allow you to keep typing but send it as 2 or 3 or whatever the number of messages you typed up. with this phone its strict 160, you cant type more nor can you receive more. that really sucks if its nto changable
