I am running Exchange 2003 and BES 4.02. It seems there is a limit to length of an email. If we compose a long email (text only, no attachments) the handheld thinks the email has been sent but it is never received. Is there a limit to the amount of text an email can contain?
I believe you may have an issue with your BES or IT Policy which is limiting your message. Every provider may also impose a limit, I have heard numbers in the 2K to 4K range, but can't believe anyone would type an email that large on a BB.
How big of an email can you possibly type on a BB before your thumbs fall off? Is this just a send issue, or can you not recieve large emails either?

Mitch, thanks for the response. There was a lot of typing- I was surprised and made sure it was all typed on the Blackberry, lol. It wasn't 2k though and I checked the IT policy and didn't see anything about a limit.
This is only happening when sending large messages. He is able to receive all attachments and text emails no matter the size.
