Default Strange Contact issue

Please Login to Remove!

Good day,
We are running BES pro 4.1 and are having a strange issue with contacts. I can create a contact on my 8130 and it will appear in the user's folder as it should. I can edit it, the edits show up fine and it works like a champ. I can create a contact in outlook (2003) and it shows up on the 8130 as it should. I can edit it from outlook with no issues. The problem is: If i delete the contact from outlook, it will not delete it from the handheld. I had a similiar issue yesterday with the calendar, but discovered a mis-matched cdo.dll. This is driving me nuts and I'm in the middle of a deployment - any assistance would be most welcome
