Default no activation of internet buttons possible !!!!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

When I am on any internet site I can't press (activate) a button. The buttons selects when I go to them with the arrow but when I click on them nothing happens. It occurs on every site I go to so in fact I can't internet at all. I am just starting to wish my Nokia E71 back. Hope it is just a setting in a menu so is there one expert on the 9700 here who can give me a hint????

What emulation is your browser defaulting to? From within your browser, go to Options|Browser Configuration. Try setting your Browser to BlackBerry Browser and your Browser Identification to BlackBerry and see if that helps.

If its already on that option, then try another and see.

Have not the faintest idea what you mean, I am a novice. Can you explain where I have to look in my bb?

Yes go back to where I sent you initially and see what the browser is when you first get there.

I discovered now that when I highlight a button and press click nothing happend but in the menu the optio "open link" appears and if I click that the link goes open. This is very strange way of navigation that i have to go to the menu after clicking a button to press open link !!!

That's not the norm. But I can pinpoint the issue just yet.

You could try using the Bolt browser in the interim. You can get it at http://boltbrowser.com/boltbb.jad. It might work out much better for you.
