Just ordered a Titanium 8310 Curve from ATT. I've always used a Blackjack or a PocketPC phone. I'm very set in my ways when it comes to Windows Mobile and I'm anxious to see how the 3rd party support pans out for the BB. I've made quite a few WinMo6 roms and wanted to know if there was a similar community with BB users. I often find that the manufacturer's rom is simpler and faster. Also, I'm more of a PDA and multimedia user. I don't anticipate any trouble setting up my email account but are there any good Today Screen / Skins and Calendar apps I can utilize? Thanks in advance for helping, I feel like I'm in a new, strange world.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Check Aftermarket Software for Today Themes.
There may also be some themes on mobile.blackberry.com

Pocket Day has a Calendar APP but I suggest you check out the product that comes with your device.

Welcome to the group, seanlindo06.

Blackberrys are different. From what I've observed of some others in my time here, I fear you might be in for some surprises. My advice is play with the new blackberry and explore all the menus and options, and do it without any preconceptions about the way it 'should' be or 'should' work.

Good luck. I hope the blackberry meets your needs.

what Aiharkness says is correct. the device is unlike others that you have used, and "should work" the way it does work. Welcome to the forums
