Default Upgrade to 4.0 for Mac Users?

Please Login to Remove!

Is it possible to upgrade from a Mac? I use PocketMac to synch, but will that do the trick for the upgrade?

Any advice appreciated.

Unfortunately you can not upgrade (or install programs at all) from a Mac. That still requires a PC.

i was thinking of the same thing of using Virtual Pc, but i have never tried sync or update. So i can only guess that it may work. Send an email to Virtual Pc and ask them, that might be the best thing

Unfortunately VPC is also a no go, it does recognize a BB plugged in via USB yet the desktop manager doesn't seem to...

The latest beta of VMWare (for Linux at least) doesn't completely recognize the BB either. It sees the device but won't finish the upgrade process.

I broke down and installed it on my wife's Windows box.

Default BB on Mac

I hate the fact I spent over $5000 on my G5, and I can't even sync my Blackberry to it. I had to buy an old shi*box P3-800 for $50 and use that to sync over RDC.
