Default Blackberry Simulators

Please Login to Remove!

Hello room,
I conduct allot of testing using blackberries for the company I work for; recently I started using simulators and it works just as if I had a blackberry in hands, which makes the whole process of t-shooting even easier.
When I started using the simulator, I noticed that it would fire a DOS screen in the back ground, and I was able to browse the web from the simulators, but now for some reason I can’t get on the web.. does anyone have any experience with simulators?
I would appreciate any help with this issue.

Hi ben,

I have just started to try and use a sumulator for my testing in the company I work for but I cannot get them to connect with the web at all so haven't had any success with them yet. This is a great shame as they look very good.

When yours were working were you using them in simulated GPRS/EDGE mode (i.e. using the radio for connection to the internet) or in simulated USB cable mode (using the PC's internet connection)

Whatever I do doesn't seem to work for me.

Regards

ha..... it's a funny old world.....

After spending days trying to get my simulators working I've just realised that my problem was not loading the MDS Simulator Package before the simulator.

It's working fine now

I wish you luck with yours ben
