i was wondering if there is a way to make the sound louder on the 8800. especially when i play videos the sound is soo low even on highest level. maybe theres a certain code or a volume boosting program i could install or something.

Short of drilling holes in the case near the speaker, no. The volume is what it is. Some folks have complained about low ringtone volume and the solution was to get some loud ringers. How about using earphones?
