Default Blackberry Pearl Does not Recieve Incoming Calls in Morning

Please Login to Remove!

My blackberry is only a week old, and I realized the other day that in the morning my pearl does not receive calls in the morning until an out going call is made. When I call my phone in the morning its does not ring, it just says the customer is not available. Once I make an out going call it is fine the entire day until the next morning.

*My phone has service
*It does not show up as a missed call
*The ringer is on
*The auto on/off feature is disabled

Anyone having the same problem or have any ideas on a fix?

Wirelessly posted (off to see the wizard)

Sounds like a service issue not a phone issue contact your provider

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Do you shut off your device at night?

i would contact Bell and see what they say. if the device doesnt ring at all, and says you are not available (not even going to voicemail) it would seem a carrier related issue.

I leave the phone on all night... and I don't have voicemail on my phone.

I agree it doesn't seem like a phone issue because my brother bought his phone at the same time and has the same problem. I was just wondering if there is some setting that makes the phone stop receiving a signal after a few hours?

There shouldn't be... like Sith said, give Bell a call and see what they say. Hopefully they can help you figure it out.
