I am getting some conflicting answers to my question and I am hoping somebody here can help. We run on a Lotus Domino environment for email. It is IBM iSeries based.

We want to purchase 10 Blackberry devices. We know that RIM doesn't make software for the iSeries, so we obviously have to install the BPS on a Windows box. The question is, do I have to install another version of Domino on the Windows server as well? I would think the BPS would be smart enough for the config to be able to remotely connect to the Domino server on the iSeries and not need a separate instance of Domino to run.

BES (or BPS) for Domino requires it to be installed on a Domino Server.
You'll need to install Domino server on the Windows Box.
