Default The Flip browser stinks!!!

I played with a Flip at the local T-Mobile store. Killer phone, but the column view on the browser absolutely stinks because you still have to scroll side to side when viewing a web page. I don't have to do that on my Pearl 8110, just up and down scrolling. I wonder if it was designed that way or it is a fault? Unless I did not have it set up correctly?

Oh and one other thing, I thought that the device (or OS) was a little laggy when navigating around. It clocked frequently.

You can easily set column view on in the browser, just like the 8110. I find the 8220 browser a definite step-up from the 81xx Pearls.

The store model has probably never been upgraded beyond the original 4.6.0.51 OS. There is no (or nearly no) lag with the newer .180, .195 or .200 OS versions.

The Flip that I played with at the store was set at page view. I changed the option to columm view, but it was not to my liking. I don't think it is a true column view like my 8110's column view setting as I had to scroll side to side to view the web pages. It is very cumbersome to scroll side to side. I just hope it is an OS design flaw and RIM fixes it. This is a deal breaker for me.
