Hi guys. So today I was playing around with my BB 8900 due to not being able to get an app working. I read somewhere that if I changed APN settings it would work...but no it did not. I somehow managed to delete my APN settings by unchecking the two boxes. I have rechecked the boxes but now I have no APN settings. So are APN settings actually important? Is there anyway I can get the settings back? I'm contemplating contacting my carrier about it. I live in Australia btw.

They are supposed to be carrier specific so it would be a good idea to contact yours to ask. Sometimes an application may work with one carrier's APN settings but not with another's. I have actually used APN settings for T-Mobile with my handheld on AT&T's network and as best I could tell everything worked. However, I use AT&T's settings now and plan to keep it that way.
