How long does text messaging get stored on a company BES? How long does it take to pull that data from the BES? I'm an HR Manager and curious.

Not sure they are stored on BES, but your carrier will keep them in case they are need for future court action. However, you cannot get them - takes a court order from my understanding.

For as long as your BES administrator decides to keep them.

A few seconds if you know the date that you want to research.
SMS logs are kept in .CSV text files and a new log is created every day and stored in the BES logs folder.

(Assuming your BES administrator has enabled SMS logging in the first place.)
